Firebrand© Briquette Charcoal is environmentally friendly, converting by-products from the saw mills into a useful energy source. With the improved and efficient production technique, the volatile matter is reduced to the minimum leaving high fixed carbon content in the charcoal which provides long lasting, odourless, smokeless and high heat combustion capacities. In a controlled environment, Firebrand Briquette Charcoal can burn as long as 6 hours with minimum ash residual, less than 5% its original weight. This unique product is made from specially selected 100% natural mixed hardwood sawdust without chemical additives or binders.
Advantages over normal charcoal
- Higher calorific value- The minimum heating value of the Charcoal is
7,701KCal/Kg or better.
- Low volatile- The volatile matter is reduced a minimum prolonging
the burning time of the Charcoal.

efficiently and economically compared to standard Coal Based

- Low Ash Content- The remaining ash content is less than 5% of the
original weight of the Firebrand Briquette charcoal
- Chemical/binder free- Firebrand Briquette Charcoal contains no
chemical or binding agent, thus making it ecologically sustainable.
- Higher burning temperature- The charring process is performed at
high temperatures giving the product its overall significance.
- Smokeless- The product burns without any smoke or fume.
- Odourless- The Charcoal contains minimum evaporated substances
within its content, eliminating the possibility of odour and fumes.
